Submitting Designs and Artwork for Embroidery and Screening
Artwork: Submitting art--logos and designs for embroidery or screen printing:
Artwork should be at least 4 to 5 inches--screen size and be clean and crisp. Avoid fuzzy blown-up pictures.
E-Mail to us in any of the following formats: .jpg, .gif, .bmp, .tif, .psd, .ai.
Make sure fonts are embedded into the picture file. Otherwise another font may be substituted.
Detail any changes you would like to the design, i.e. letters, colors, etc.
For screenprinted work you must submit "vector" (scalable) art.

Caution: Some features don't stitch well in embroidery:
Shadows on small objects; text letters less than 1/4" high; outlines in front or behind letters; very fine details;

Namedrops: Sizing & coloration:
With many of the embroideries shown herein, our name--"Escape" or "Escape Sportif" has been used as a
namedrop. When ordering, it is necessary to carefully specify the name or words you want to replace our
name. (Caution: Spelling and punctuation--if any--must be clearly written and accurate in every detail.)
Do not rely on the embroidery sizes shown on your monitor. Designs will be scaled to be appropriate to the
garment or headwear on which they will be sewn. As visors have a very limited vertical space, do not specify
embroidery that will exceed 1 inch in height. BB caps and hats can accommodate embroideries up to 4" wide
by 2" high. Left-chest embroideries look best when they do not exceed 3.75" wide by 2" high.
Namedrops only (without any associated design) may be ordered in any of the type fonts offered on the
"Fonts & Texts" page.
